My husband and I frequently throw out "I got a rock" and crack ourselves up.

I'm loving your halloween theme, btw and have learned all sorts of stuff about movies that I never noticed before. I didn't quite get why they loved it so much but maybe it is a guy book?Mandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11464763393017440090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1906866639508776624.post-10568213718989909852008-10-07T09:10:00.000-06:002008-10-07T09:10:00.000-06:00I meant give HER broken arm nightmares. I found it so frustrating. My kids are much smarter than I am so they got it a lot younger than I did.

The Great Pumpkin is great, but Charlie Brown Christmas is still my favorite. We quote Sally, 'All I want is what I... I have coming to me. All I want is my fair share.' and Lucy, 'You know, Santa Claus and ho-ho-ho, and mistletoe and presents to pretty girls...' pretty much year round.

Gonna have to set TiVo now, so we can wait for the Great Pumpkin on our own terms.stefaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04070263353485891308noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1906866639508776624.post-62907952864303060732008-10-06T21:55:00.000-06:002008-10-06T21:55:00.000-06:00"Dumbest movie ever" was the funniest line ever. We would look in the TV Guide to see when it was on. I still find myself quoting Charlie Brown on Halloween when I ask the kids what they got! "Oh! You got a rock!"
I think kids now are used to more bells and whistles and have a hard time appreciating simple technology. I have to admit..I think the same thing when I see the old Star Trek episodes compared to the "new" ones. But, I agree with you...the time honored tradition of Charlie Brown should be on every families watch list for the holiday!! Thanks for the reminder! PS...I think I might have more Lucy traits that I would want!Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01976580812752160878noreply@blogger.com
