Photostory Friday: 365 Week 9

PhotoStory Friday
Hosted by Cecily and Kelli

365
Hosted by Chris

Day 57

Something Sweet

February 26: Rainbow Sherbet. I could eat it by the gallon.

Come to think of it...

Day 58

Body Parts

February 27: Some of my parts -- but which ones are mine?

Day 59

Black and white (with a little something extra)

February 28: Why is it that your favorite pair of jeans always become the most comfortable, just before they disintegrate?

And thus end the themes.

Day 60

March 1: Spring Cleaning.

By March first, I feel the way my house looks.

I need dusting.

Stat.

Day 61

March 2: Netflix -- a great way to supplement your television watching with more television watching. I'm currently working my way through Psych: Season 2.

I'm considering tackling Lost next -- I've never seen an episode, is it worth it?

Day 62

March 3: I was annoyed.

The house was a mess, and Emma's room was a nightmare.

I don't even remember why I went in there, but I was stumbling and grumbling, and then I looked up and saw this.

I stopped. I began to breathe again. All the stress went away, and I looked at that peaceful, guileless little face, and wondered what she was dreaming about.

Whatever it was, I'm sure it was pink and purple.

Day 63

March 4: It looked a lot cooler on the small viewing screen of my camera. I swear.

Precious picture of your sleeping girl.

And I love the last one! That looks pretty darn cool to me.

62 is my favorite!!! She is the sweetest girl ever.

And 63 looks very cool.

BTW, you and Delia can hang out and eat rainbow sherbet. :)

I love that shot of Emma sleeping. Pysch is great...Lost...Yawn! But I'll leave that to people who have watched more than five minutes of it!

Rainbow Sherbert...that brings back memories of when I was a kid. Loved that stuff but had to be careful because I am lactose intolerant and couldn't even have sherbert. It was so sad, but I loved it...especially when it was in punch! I paid later, but whatever it was worth it.

And for whatever it is worth...I love the water droplet shot!

Mmm Rainbow sherbet. I haven't had that in years.

Love the jeans picture. Those look very comfy indeed.

The sleeping picture is so sweet. I love those moments that the kids can take you from stressed to completely forgetting it all. It doesn't happen often enough though. ;)

Oh and I'm totally digging the dust. You should just keep it there for artistic reasons. haha

Mmmm... sherbet. I need to go get a bowl of that!

I like the water droplet shot. I spent quite a bit of time one day trying to take a decent photo and gave up. Yours is nicer than any of mine were!

great set of shots....especially the one of the sleeping little honey. it really does make things right with the world. ♥

oh and it is totally your fault that I'm dying for some sherbet now.

Is it weird that I love the dust picture? Because I totally do.

Your sleepy girl is sweet...way to put things into perspective. :)

Oh, and by the way, you should tackle Lost. I think it's the kind of weirdness that you would totally dig.

The tone and angle of the cobweb shot is great. Thanks for the comment over at mine.

LOST is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO worth it. But don't blame me if you get totally sucked in and can't escape. :)
I'm really starting to doubt that your other children exist.
I think my Melody and your Emma have some kind of psychic connection...they are too eerily similar!
Fabulous photos as always.

If Cecily is weird, I must be too. Because my favorite this week is the cob web picture. Not sure why.

If the light wasn't on, I'd say it looked lonely. But with it on...it says busy life to me. And maybe (hopefully--because I have them all over my place too) priorities on more important things?

Ok, I might be stretching things. Happy cleaning. :)

I've not seen a lick of either show, so I can't help you there.

Love Rainbow Sherbet too, but it's impossible to get any that tastes truly good anymore around here--it's all very chemically.

Haven't seen Lost. Sorry.

That picture of Emma is great. Glad it gave you peace.

Once again, a great week of pictures! Love the ones of your daughter - especially the sleeping one. I have never seen Lost but my husband and I have rented "Coupling" from Netflix - a fun, light, British comedy TV series. Very smart writing and funny! :)

I hate it when pictures look amazing on my camera screen and then I'm disappointed! But--you have nothing to be disappointed about!
I love the one of your daughter sleeping, the feet, really, all of them!

I love the creativity of your reflection shot

Emma--with the blue jeans and sleeping. both sweeter than the icecream :)

I didn't start watching Lost until last summer, we watched all the previous seasons on DVD. It is the most confusing, yet somehow addicting show I've ever watched. It still doesn't make any sense and the show is about to end . . .

The feet one is brilliant. And the cobweb -I also have a cobweb picture in my batch today.

I LOVE rainbow sherbert.. I dont' know when I last had it, I am long overdue!

And yes Lost is worth it. You definitely have to see it from the beginning though. It is one of those shows that will drive you insane but you will just keep watching.

I need to see something that will bring peace to me now... I am just starting to feel very overwhelmed and stressed about everything going on this month.

Love your macro shots this week.. and the sleeping angel. I can relate to that ire that evaporates when they FINALLY give you a chance to take a breath!

How come I can see a post called "Pull it out of my where?" on my blog roll, in the sidebar of my blog but I don't see that post on your blog anywhere?

I like the dust picture.
I think your feet are the ones in the front.

Not sure about the season of Lost...I've never seen an episode myself....but we just got a PS3 with a free 2 week trial of Netflix....not sure I need to add that to my TV schedule, either.

Nothing more beautiful than a sleeping child. Wow. So sweet. I LOVE that shot!

I enjoy seeing dust in other people's homes... makes me feel so... normal.

I'm a sorbet girl myself.

And, sneaky you..taking pictures in a mirrored revolving door, no?

And, you are so true about your kiddos. Sleeping kids take all of the anger, madness and frustration away.

I think Aaron must watch Lost.
I love the shot of Emma sleeping. It's a good thing that they look so innocent and wonderful when they are sleeping, otherwise we might ship them off.
Sounds like your house looks like mine. I love the shot of the dust on the chanlier.
Ah, rainbow sherbet is food from the gods.
And who doesn't love a great pair of comfy worn out jeans?

LOST is totally worth it. You have to watch it from the beginning and you can't miss an episode or you'll get really confused. Some episodes are more intense than others and there are a few characters I could do without - but overall, it's a cool show. My husband and I got sucked in a couple years ago. Watched all the dvds to catch up. For almost two weeks we went to bed at 1am. Just kept watching episode after episode.

and I LOVE the sleepy head pic. So sweet.

Great week of shots! As for Lost....it is an odd show. I missed many shows, but I'm watching the last season. I usually get to the end of an episode and say, HUH? So if you like shows that keep you guessing then go for it.
