Engagements

I love taking pictures of couples. Especially young couples in love. There's something very dynamic about them, they are completely wrapped up in each other. The world does not exist, but in the eyes and the arms of the other.

I love the faces.

The light touches. The eyes, softly closed. The smiles are so real.

They are savoring the presence of one another. They are falling in love, and being in love.

As a photographer, I want nothing more than to blend into the background and with a young couple, with eyes only for each other, that's pretty easy to do.

These pictures are from an engagement session this past weekend.

Say hello to Kim and Garrett.

I saw these on Facebook and just loved them. Though, I did think Garrett was leering at Kim in a couple of them. Like his mind was other places...if ya' know what I mean. *wink* *wink* I think you did blend into the background then because his mind truly was on her! And it was beautiful, either way!

I love that your shots are never the norm. A supreme compliment in my book for sure. I love the faces for sure, but I love the un-portraits too. There's such a story in those.

I love these pictures! When is the wedding? I knew it wouldn't take these two very long to get engaged.

You did a wonderful job. I have never photographed engaged folks. looks like fun. I doubt I'd be able to get them to relax like that. did you pose them at all...or tell them what to do...or did they just play?

Young is right! Kim looks like a baby!! :)

You did a fantastic job capturing their love. My favorite is the restaurant shot. It's edgy.

They look so happy!

I think married couples should have their engagement pictures retaken.... because for a lot of us, the love is still there and just as strong as ever.

(Plus taking pictures without your kids would be SO much more fun!)

You're such a softie. :)

They are all beautiful, but the last one may be my favorite.

And the teal shoes. I totally love them. Maybe you could find out where she got them for me?

I love the one one Kim's against the wall, and Garret's looking at her with an expression to strong for words. If thiss isn't love...i don't know what is!
