PhotoStory Friday: 365 Week 34

PhotoStory Friday
Hosted by Cecily and Lolli

Day 231

August 20: Exhausted.

This summer has just about done me in.

Day 232

August 21: Matt and Kelsey's Wedding. I got a lot of great shots today, but I'll be honest, this one is my favorite.

He actually took the phone call!

Day 233

August 22: Nothing says late summer afternoon like corn on the cob.

Thank goodness for toothpicks.

Day 234

August 23: Some nights you just have to settle for the sunset.

Day 235

August 24: One of the things that makes me most proud is that my children are all good readers. More than that, they enjoy reading.

Reading for pleasure is a gift of immeasureable worth.

Day 236

August 25: Dead daisies.

Between the dead roses and the dead daisies, and the mourning glory that's taking over, I'm thinking of changing our address to 1313 Mockingbird Lane.

It's really getting quite out of hand...

Day 237

August 26: Which is why...THIS is my favorite shot of the week.

Those are my son's hands on the handle of the lawn mower.

We may save the property from condemnation yet!

I haven't made the rounds for awhile . . . I can't believe he took the call either. I kind of got distracted with my daughters wedding and didn't actually take a picture every day for the last month. I'm posting some of the ton of pictures I took at the wedding to make up for it. This week I'm trying to get back to "365"

I hear you on the exhaustion thing. I think my favorite this week is your corn picture. But the wedding shot is pretty funny!

Lol! Why does he even have his phone with him? Don't we have kids so we can put them to work?

my kids LOVE to read (or be read to) as well. It makes my heart sing!

Yeah, my husband would have taken the phone call too. But he also forgot our anniversary this week. ;)
Sorry that you're tired...hopefully this weekend you can drink and extra root beer and sit on the back porch for some R&R as you watch your son cut the grass and relish in the fact that your grass cutting days are over! :)

Oh my gosh. You are so funny! LOVE the wedding picture. I laughed out loud! I think you are doing so good. Working so hard and shooting so much. You inspire me. And so does that dead daisy : )

Always love coming over here on Fridays. It doesn't feel like it is a normal week until I get my visit in to you Chris! My favorite MALE blogger : )

Love the corn on the cob and the little reader!

The wedding pic makes me laugh. I wonder how much grief his new bride will give him for that one!

My super sweet husband was beginning to think the same thing about our yard, so he went out and cut down all the dead daisies and lillies and irises and everything else. Looks much better now! Want to borrow him?

and that groom??? Holy cow! Clearly a newlywed, hasn't learnt the do's and don't's of marriage. So funny!

It's been an exhausting summer around here too. Oy. Love that shot though.

I miss PSF! I just couldn't hang this year, but maybe next year I will try again. :)

That last shot is so cute. Love it!

And the wedding shot is very cool. I can see why it's your favorite.

That wedding one is stunning. And love the tired one. Your dead daisies form a great contrast with my blooming jasmine. So the seasons turn.

Wow, I can totally relate to your exhausted. You look how I feel! The kids went back to school this week and we are all beat!

I love the wedding photo, it just captures how everyday life still gets in the way of special moments.
