PhotoStory Friday: 365 Week 35

PhotoStory Friday
Hosted by Lisa and Cecily

I just realized I lost my button, I'll try to have it back by next week. I do still care about this blog, I SWEAR!

Day 238

August 27: I took a picture today. I did! But I can't find it

I'm losing my mind...

Day 239

August 28: I shot my last scheduled wedding of the summer today. And I was going to post a picture from that shoot...

Instead, you get my "Thank goodness the wedding season is over, because I'm exhausted" self portrait.

Day 240

August 29: Sunflowers.

Is it still a weed if it's beautiful?

Day 241

August 30: When all else fails, when I've burned every photographic idea I can think of, when I've hit the wall on day 241, my guitar never lets me down.

Day 242

August 31: This is Emma, modeling one of her mom's crocheted hats -- about to go up on Etsy.

I'm not sure what the leg thing is all about, but it's a very Emma thing to do.

Day 243

September 1: The day I've been waiting for all summer.

We planted our tomatoes late this year, and they're just ripening. I am SOOOOOOOOO excited!

I could just sit out in the garden, and eat them all day long.

In fact, if you need me....

Day 244

September 2: It's soccer time.

Matt has been working out hard in the back yard, preparing for the upcoming season -- and I have a dozen loose boards in the fence to prove it.

How does one lose their button? and wedding season... makes me glad I am not a professional photographer!

I once again had a non creative week too but your pictures are way more craetive than mine. Love that guitar shot and your self portrait. Awesome shots.

plenty of creativity going on there--I love, love tomato season.

I like your self portrait...very casual GQ with the undone tie look.
Etsy and hats are the perfect match...you better share the link.
And your tomatoes are just now ripening?!!? We're already past that. We had our first batch in late June and ever since about mid August I can't seem to get any more to grow on our vine. :(

I wasn't sure if I was going to keep up my 365 blog anymore. (there are some horribly MAJOR things going on in my life right now). But, I did it, minus 2 days of me either fudging or just leaving it blank...

I planted my tomatoes late as well and hope I'll be enjoying them late into October. YUM.

And YAY for the start of soccer season!! We just started our first ever soccer season...curious to see how it goes!!

(oh and I have totally fallen off with my 365 pics - just couldn't get it up and going again....i'll have to try again next year)

I love both of your self portraits this week -- the wedding one and the tomato one. :)

Perhaps if you were here, you would take care of the hundred or so roma tomatoes that have ripen and fallen off the plants due to me being lazy. errrr. yeah.

As for the 365, I miss doing it and will try again next year. :)

Well, you know which is my favorite picture. But that Emma shot comes in second. She is so cool. I miss her.

I am so stinkin late this week! But in my defense I have been out of town! Will you still come by and check me out?

Love the picture of the sunflower and the guitar. But my absolute favorite is the self portrait!

Hopefully you made some moola with all those weddings! I'm doing one at the end of September, but otherwise I'd rather stay away from them. One wedding a summer would be enough for me!
