Photostory Friday: Q & A with Emma June

PhotoStory Friday
Hosted by Cecily and She's a moron and can't remember...

There's really no need for elaborate introductions.

This is Emma June.

The world revolves around her.

Recently, Emma had a conversation with her mother -- a series of questions and answers.

(Bear in mind, these are immediate and off the cuff answers -- Emma didn't have to stop and think about them...)

Mom: If you were a color what would you be?

Emma: Pink. NO! WAIT! Hot pink!

Mom: If you were a food, what would you be?

Emma: Spaghetti and meatballs.

Mom: If you were a candy, what would you be?

Emma: A red raspberry sucker.

Mom: If you were an animal, what would you be?

Emma: A pony.

Mom: If you were a flower, what would you be?

Emma: A dandelion.

Mom: If you were a drink, what would you be?

Emma: Cream Soda.

Mom: If you were a Disney character, who would you be?

Emma: Minnie Mouse (this one surprised me).

Mom: If you were a movie, what would you be?

Emma: Rapunzel.

Mom: If you were a car, what would you be?

Emma: A monster truck.

Do you have ready answers to all of these questions? How about your kids?

We'll end with my favorite Emma quote of the week:

I wish I never had to wear matching socks.

lol, cool answers, especially the Monster Truck. :) She's a very pretty little girl.

And who says your socks have to match? Create away!

I think she should throw caution into the wind and wear un-matching socks tomorrow. :) Your Emma is so cute and entertaining. And just out of curiosity, what Disney character did you expect her to be?

She is just awesome!
The second and third pics say it all to me. I love it! :)

I love that she would be cream soda. And tell Emma there is hope for the matching socks thing when she gets older - I rarely wear matching ones. ;D Shhhh.

I lurve her. And her mismatched socks. She's a gem.

P.S. Gracie, by choice, almost NEVER wears matching socks. Imagine that!

That's excellent!
I never wore matching socks when I was in high school...on purpose!
Great pictures, great interview.

She's such a doll! I would ask mine these, however the only answers I would get would be "I don't know..." Perhaps I'll wait a year...

And she doesn't have to wear matching socks because she is A.W.E.S.O.M.E.

What a hoot! I think I've said before - I want to be Emma when I grow up. Great photos, Chris.

Apparently she's not heard of my favorite sock company: Sol-mate Socks. Their motto: "Life's too short for matching socks."

Awesome! Funny that only Minnie Mouse surprised you.

My Jacob NEVER wears matching socks. I've let that one go.

I don't like wearing matching socks either! Such a pain to have to find two of the same. :) I love the Q & A. I'll have to try this with my little girl. So fun!

What a great photo display and personal insight you gathered from your kiddos.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment on my hotel room and the array of pillows! It was a Holiday Inn but a fairly new one. I do appreciate a pretty bed and nice linens and his place had them to spare!!

We had a wonderful time in Florida and managed to get out just ahead of Hurricane Ida! Stop by again when you can. Blessings.

I will have to ask my three year old these questions! It would be intersting to see what he says!

I love this kind of stuff. You can learn so much about a person by listening to their first thought responses. And I love that she is a real go getter! You can tell my her monster truck answer, you also know that she is willing to run over and crush anyone that steps in the way of her dreams!
Sorry I haven't gotten back to you yet on the whole pricing thing. We had a week here at my house. If you have a minute and would like to check it out I finally have my Photo Story posted at Cake Crumbs.

Love the questions. Love the answers. Love the photos. You inspire me!

At our house we don't wear matching socks. What is the point? We started it when my Whitney would wear my socks and they wouldn't match. Then I wouldn't have any that matched. So then I would just wear whatever was left. Now we don't care. All the loose ones go in a basket and as long as you have one for each foot who cares if they match.

Gotta love Emma.

LOL! And let her know that right now the "cool" thing in the California kid set is to not wear matching socks.
