Fifty-eight years ago, a man named Walt opened the gates to a magic kingdom, and let the world in.
Since that time, Disneyland has come to be known as the Happiest Place on Earth.
And I can't argue.
There is something different about the place.
Inside the gates of Disneyland, they use words like magic and dreams and wonder, without irony. It's easy to believe that dreams come true, because the very place is the embodiment of one man's dream -- the dream to make families happy.
Happy birthday Disneyland, and thank you for the memories my family will never forget!
