It's easy to forget that life is as brief as our next breath.
You can't prepare for a tragedy, which is perhaps the most tragic thing of all. You don't see it coming, or you would alter the outcome, if you could.
As I sat thinking about what this poor family is going through, I watched my children, and I thought about how grateful I am, every second of every day, that I have been so greatly blessed.
